From 2026, Scottish Lichens delivers a number of lichen and bryophyte themed distance learning courses at beginner and intermediate level. These courses will include reading, field work activities and tutor feedback to coursework and will be self-paced within a given time period. The first of these courses, for people at the start of their lichen journey, is Lichens on Trees.
