Hypotrachyna revoluta

A foliose species with a light grey thallus that consists of short, rounded lobes that are incised and slightly rolled down at the margin. The soralia on the lobe margins will eventually spread across the lobes.

Cortex: K+ yellow. Medulla: C+ pink-red, UV-

In Scotland, Hypotrachyna revoluta is found on wayside and woodland trees and on weakly acidic rocks, mainly along the west coast. BLS distribution map
