Lecanora soralifera

A distinctive crustose species with an areolate or dispersed and sub-squamulose thallus that is yellow-green or green-grey. It usually has numerous yellow-green to green soralia that arise from the centre of the squamules and may become confluent.

Thallus: C-, K-, UV+ dull orange

In Scotland, Lecanora soralifera has mainly a southern and eastern distribution where it is found on exposed siliceous rock. BLS distribution map
