Arthonia radiata

A distinctive species with a white or pale grey thallus and a dark prothallus. The black, stellate apothecia tend to be numerous.

Arthonia radiata is often found alongside Lecidella elaeochroma and Lecanora chlarotera in a pioneer community on deciduous trees.
